If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Chair of Governors at Richard Lee Primary School, a vibrant and welcoming school which has recently joined Castle Phoenix Trust.

About the Role

As Chair of Governors, you will lead the Local Governing Body, ensuring strong governance is in place, focusing on the 4Ss – Safeguarding, SEND, Standards and Stakeholder Engagement. You will:

• Act as a key link between the school, parents, the community, and the wider Trust

• Ensure compliance with statutory duties and Trust policies

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• The ability to build consensus and make sound strategic decisions

• Experience of governance, education, or leadership (not essential – full training provided)

• A genuine commitment to improving children’s lives through excellent education

Why Join Us?

• Be part of a thriving Multi Academy Trust with a shared mission to grow confident learners by leading, learning and excelling together

• Receive training, development, and support from both the school and the Trust
